“Hancock Administration OK with CDOT Contractor Bulldozing, Drilling into Night for 5 Years to Widen I-70”

The city’s Board of Public Health and Environment will consider the request at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at 200 W. 14th Ave. on the second floor.

Perhaps we have different calendars. 🙂 At the end of the day, it will be so much nicer for the neighborhoods and everybody to have the project finished sooner rather than much later.

Sure, I’d happily forego sleep for 5 years so I could enjoy a huge increase in car traffic sooner. Sounds delightful.

Rebecca White, a spokesperson for CDOT, said that Kiewit’s request for I-70 closely matches the nighttime work it did during the TREX reconstruction of Interstate 25 through Washington Park.

They’ve also upgraded about 250 homes with storm windows, insulation and AC units, weatherization and caulking. If you’d like to move into the neighborhood and give live updates that could be fun especially with your penchant for drama. 🙂

Sweet, windows that I can never ever open even on the hottest days of summer because the air outside isn’t safe to breathe and the noise is constant.
That’s during construction and after it’s finished because of the thousands and thousands of cars all day and night.

Sorry, I’ve lived in places like that before, wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
It’s not being dramatic, it’s just caring about the well being of other people.
