Yeah, if you could shed some more light on the Orchard Station TOD topic, that’d be nice. As a resident in Centennial, it’s clearly leaned heavily on the ‘Vote No’ side right now. I think the other spectrum needs more representation. It’s unfortunate that the message of utilizing the existing transit system (trains at 6-10 min headways during peak hours!) would actually help in removing traffic. Shame that the “T” part of TOD is being left out of discussions, and it’s been most negative “D” talk on the developments.

Sorry to hear that approval looks grim. East Orchard Rd is an admittedly very nice drive all the way from So Broadway to Quebec St. But at that point everything changes. Greenwood Village is obviously stunted in their views and possessive of their “special” community with respect to proposed changes.

:-/ Yeah, it’s unfortunate. On the plus side, Belleview Station is developing quite nicely! And it’s great to finally see Arapahoe moving forward with all their development!

I like how transit and dense, mixed use development have to be voted on but road widening for cars is just assumed to be okay.
